"Winter is a wonderful watercolor and drawing teacher. I hadn't done any artistic work for a number of years, when she first offered watercolor classes in Fairmont but she helped me get back in the groove, and guided me toward work I wanted to do. After a few weeks, I told her that I'd always collected pictures and paintings of poppies and I wanted to paint some myself. Since then I've painted lots of poppies as well as many other subjects. A few years ago i designed snow girl Christmas Cards for Kaleidoscope Foundation (founder of the Brassiere Bazaar) and also took my watercolors on a trip to Italy in 2007. Its great fun and I've even sold a few pieces as well as my poppy note cards. I'm looking forward to having Winter back teaching in this area."
